Derrick grew up locally in Ste Marie, IL attending Newton Community High School. In 2018 he graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and in 2020 he completed his Physical Therapist Assistant program at Southwestern Illinois College. He has recently returned to Olney, IL after living in St Louis, MO working as a physical therapist assistant in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Derrick coaches the Legends programming at Newton
